Some comments about my fields of expertise;
travel and tourism: I have translated a wide variety of texts for local authorities in Spain including the Consell Insular de Ibiza. This has included brochures, websites and catalogues. Other stimulating jobs included transcriptions for guided walking tours of historical and archaeological sites in Spain.
human resources materials and marketing: this year I translated a range of marketing and HR materials such as surveys and manuals for leading Spanish companies in the banking (Banco Santander) and commercial sectors.
magazines, books and academic texts: I specialize in translations of articles for magazines and newspapers (see portfolio of clients). I have just completed a translation of a memoir of the Spanish Civil War (65,000 words).
legal / real estate contracts: over the past three years I have translated contracts for the lease / purchase of properties and international exhibitions.
Proofreading: I have proofread the content of Ibiza and Formentera Style Magazine in English and Spanish throughout 2009 and 2010.
